A complete copper-alloy trade weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1714 - 1826. The weight is circular in plan with a raised rim. The rim has an off-centre groove along the flat upper surface. A small circular depression is present at the centre of the weight and is enclosed by an incised ring. Two parallel rings are also present midway between the centre and rim. Copper alloy fragment of a medieval or post medieval cooking pot or cauldron. The fragment is an outwards angled rim with a moulding 8.7mm deep on the inside of the curve and evidence of blackening from a fire on the outside. The inside is notably cleaner and smoother than the outside surface. There is a casting flash or seam on the outside.

A cast lead bird cage trough or feeder. The vessel is almost complete but very distorted, and would originally have been D-shaped in section, flaring from the base. The flanged rim may have been damaged. These bird troughs date to the 16th -17th century. The metal surface is worn and the lead has gone a light whitish-grey colour and the surface is very powdery.

Two fragments of a high tinned copper-alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. The larger fragment was in two pieces when found but has been glued back together by the finder. It is sub-rectangular in plan, tapering from one end to the other, with a faceted curved section. Dimensions: 50.6mm x 13.3mm x 1.8mm; 6.6g. The smaller fragment is also sub-rectangular in plan, tapering from one end to the other, with a more defined faceted curved section. Moulded transverse banding decorates one terminal. Dimensions: 31.8mm x 13.8mm x 1.7mm; 6.3g.

A flint tranchet axehead from the early Mesolithic period (c.9000 - 8000 BC). The flint is a brownish-cream colour with crumbling inclusions visible. The axe is crudely worked, with a rounded cutting edge, roughly parallel sides and a pointed butt. It has a broadly triangular cross-section. This artefact was probably cast, having quite a uniformly circular flan with the exception of c.7.4mm of the circumference which protrudes outwards for an extra 2.4mm. An incomplete copper alloy, hollow backed stirrup terminal. It is in the form of a decorated U shape. The surviving part of the design consists of two incised loops which may be the ears of an animal head. At the proximal end is a transverse raised collar. The distal end is broken off. The back of the terminal is hollow and retains traces of the iron stirrup frame. The terminal is quite corroded and there is some wear and damage at the proximal end. Date:Late Early Medieval - c. 1000 - 1100.

Victorian Silver Apothecary/Medicinal Spoon. Beautifully decorated with two snakes intertwinned and wrapped around the handle (possibly associated with the staff of Hermes, but there are no wings), but gives reference to medicine nonetheless. There is a 'pinecone' type object at the top of the spoon which is decorated with a crosshatch pattern. The snakes are intricately designed, with individual scales and even eyes can be seen. The measuring spoon 'bowl' is 17mm in diameter. The spoon is complete and in very good condition.
