A copper-alloy Medieval horse harness pendant with suspension mount. The pendant is shield-shaped with an extending loop on the top edge, which is set at right angles to the shield. The decoration of the front face of the shield bears an engraved peacock like bird facing left; the engraving has remains of cream and red enamel. The mount has a rounded upper edge while the lower edge has two holed lugs, which allow the attachment of the pendant through an iron rivet threaded in the suspension loop. An incomplete copper alloy, hollow backed stirrup terminal. It is in the form of a decorated U shape. The surviving part of the design consists of two incised loops which may be the ears of an animal head. At the proximal end is a transverse raised collar. The distal end is broken off. The back of the terminal is hollow and retains traces of the iron stirrup frame. The terminal is quite corroded and there is some wear and damage at the proximal end. Date:Late Early Medieval - c. 1000 - 1100.

A cast copper alloy medieval single single loop D shape buckle, dating to AD 1250 - 1400. The pin is in place. There are moulded knops at the ends of the of the hoop and a very much narrowed and off set strap bar. There is a thickened section at the middle of the strap bar.
