An incomplete Medieval - Post Medieval cast copper-alloy Cauldron leg fragment, circa 1400 AD - 1800 AD. The leg has an old break, and is D shaped in cross-section. The reverse side is flat and plain. The surface is worn and abraded with a green patina. A similar item is published by Brian Read, History Beneath Our Feet (1995), page 95, No. 591. The length is 34mm, the width is 21mm and the weight 33.80g..

Copper alloy buckle plate probably dating 1200 - 1600AD. The plate is rectangular and undecorated that is constructed from a copper alloy sheet that has been folded in half in order to be wrapped around the strap bar of a buckle. In the centre of the folded end is a slot for the buckle pin. There is a single corroded iron rivet at the rear. The buckle is missing. The length is 24mm, the width is 12mm and the weight 2.21g.

The outer edges are expanded, and the sides slightly concave and moulded at the spindle housings. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1660-1720AD.
