A silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) second or third coinage dating to the period AD 1561-1602. Obverse: bust left with rose behind. Obverse legend: ELIZAB[ETH] D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA. Reverse: illegible square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the legend. Reverse legend: [POUSI DEU ADIUTOREM MEU]. Probably Tower of London mint.

A complete and worn post-Medieval silver sixpence of William III (1694-1702), minted at London with illegible date on coin, c. 1695-c. 1699.
Obverse: GVLIELMVS.III.DEI.GRA.; Laureate and draped bust facing right.
Reverse: [ ] MAG.BR.FRA.ET.HIB.REX.16; Four shields within which are a harp, one lion rampant, three lions passant and three fleurs-de-lis, all around a central circle with the lion of Nassau within, creating a cruciform shape.
Diameter: 20.8mm. Weight: 2.78g. DA=12:6.
