A silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) second or third coinage dating to the period AD 1561-1602. Obverse: bust left with rose behind. Obverse legend: ELIZAB[ETH] D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA. Reverse: illegible square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the legend. Reverse legend: [POUSI DEU ADIUTOREM MEU]. Probably Tower of London mint.

A copper-alloy French shield jetton dating to the period c. AD 1500-1525. The obverse depicts the Shield of France with three fleurs-de-lis surmounted by a crown that interrupts the margin with a fictitious legend. The reverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross within an ornamental tressure that has three main arches, and a fictitious legend. There is a punched circular hole close at 11 o'clock indicative of possible reuse, and a large crack projecting from one side into the centre. See Mitchiner 1988, p. 355, no. 1069 for a similar example.

A complete copper-alloy one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman period (c. AD 10 - 60). Most of the brooch is made from a single piece of copper-alloy. The head comprises a spring mechanism consisting of four coils and a seperate internal circular-sectioned copper-alloy axis bar. From the spring the bow of the brooch extends downwards and arches slightly before extending to form a flattened catchplate. An incomplete cast copper-alloy object of uncertain function and date, possibly a Roman cosmetic instrument or toilet article. The object comprises a strip that tapers and becomes circular in cross-section with a pointed terminal at one end, and at the other end widens to become rectangular in cross section before flattening to form a short trapezoidal plate. The object measures 70.9 mm in length and a maximum of 28mm in width. It weighs 4.30 grams.

A cast lead-alloy object, possibly a mount for a horse harness fitting dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1800). The mount is multifoil in plan and rectangular in cross-section, with the edge divided into ten lobes. The concave surface is undecorated. The convex surface is lightly scratched with an 'X'. The arms of the 'X' extend to the edges of the object and there is a small circular incision at the central point where the four arms meet. A very abraded sherd of first to third century Roman Samian ware from the base of a vessel or plate. The flat sherd is broadly trapezoidal in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The inside surface of the sherd has decoration in the form of a circumferential boarder consisting of a shallow exterior groove and two narrower shallow interior grooves.
