A complete but slightly damaged Medieval silver long cross cut farthing of Henry III (1216-1272), minted by Jordan at Winchester. Class 2a or 3a-3c, 1248-1250 (North 1994: 226, refs: 985/1; 986-988).
Obverse: hEN[ ]; Crowned bust facing without sceptre.
Reverse: IVR/[ ]/[ ]/[ ]; Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.
Length: 8.9mm; width: 8.6mm. Weight: 0.30g. DA=12:9.
