Roman (AD c. 50-400) Initial T-shaped brooch (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, The Hinged Pin, Type 5k, Plate 58); The copper-alloy brooch has a cylindrical crossbar which has a central slot on the reverse to allow the pin to be hinged. Within the cross bar there is a copper alloy axis bar on which the pin is pivoted. The hinge is visible, but the pin is missing. The wings are undecorated. Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Possibly Group 4f, Plate 47, AD c.150-420). The copper alloy brooch has semi-cylindrical wings with perforated wing caps. An incomplete Post Medieval lead uniface token, dating to c. AD 1500 - 1850. The design possibly suggests it is a tree - - a central raised line ,(trunk), from which emerge a series of diagonal lines (14 Branches), all in relief. The Token has a small circumferential loss, possibly caused at the time of its casting. But is otherwise in good condition. It measures 19.28mm in diameter, has a thickness of 1.39mm, and weighs 3.2 gm.

Five heavily abraded body sherds Roman Black Burnished Ware vessels (BB1, from Wareham/Poole Harbour, Dorset) dating c. AD 75-410. All are too fragmentary to establish the form although the range of thicknesses and firing suggests more than one vessel is represented. All have are a hard fired, dark grey fabric with occasional brown areas on some sherds and one unusually a mid gray on the inner (abraded) face.
