Three heavily abraded body sherds and one base sherd of Roman greyware vessels. The base sherd is a small fragment from a narrow based vessel with sides that are expanding outwards at around 75 degrees to the base, probably a jar.
The micaceous fabric varies from pale to mid-grey with a silty texture, abundent fine sand temper and occasional (5-10%) rounded inclusion up to 1mm, probably limestone or other grey stone.

An almost complete Roman copper alloy military buckle dating to AD 100 to 250. The buckle consists of singular loop with semi-scrolling ands and a small integral plate with a slot for the pin. The pin is missing.
The frame is D-shape and measure 25.1 mm width at the point of maximum expansion. It is sub-rectangular in section, with a convex outer side and a flat inner side and reverse. The ends of the frame adjacent to the plate are curled inwards ending in semi-scrolls either side of the missing pin.
