An incomplete gilded copper-alloy Medieval disc-on-pin buckle pin, dating to AD 1200-1400. It consists of a circular disc and part of the tapering D-shaped cross sectioned pin protruding from one edge of the disc. The front face of the disc has a circular recess in its centre, surrounded by a gilded rim decorated with an irregular sequence of dense transverse and oblique incised zigzags. An incomplete cast copper-alloy spur buckle frame dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1620-1680). The object consists of one loop of the flat trapezoidal frame. The inside edges are bevelled and there is a lobed protrusion at one end of the strap bar. The opposite lobed protrusion is missing, as is the pin. The buckle frame measures 22mm in length, 20mm in width and 2mm in thickness. It weighs 2.5 grams. As Whitehead 1996, p. 82, nos. 512-513.

A folded fragment from a gold strip dating to the Bronze Age c.1500-800 BCE. A flat gold sheet that has been folded flat against itself over 180 degrees. One original terminal survives which ends in a curved convex edge. The opposite terminal of the fragment ends in a clean transverse break. The outer surface of the sheet has incised decoration consisting of 10 parallel lines that run the length of the object taking up its entire width. This creates a ridged design. An incomplete copper alloy Medieval rotary key of probably medieval date (c. AD 1300 - 1500). The key has a circular openwork bow with a cross. The stem is hollow and joins the bow with a moulded collar. The bit is rectangular in shape now broken. The outer edge of the bit appears has been rolled over to form a tube, part of which has been broken. The length is 75mm and the width 38mm. This key was probably for a casket or chest. A key with a similar bow illustrated in Ward-Perkins (1940 Plate XXIX no. 13) is suggested to be 14th or 15th century.
