An incomplete late medieval or post-medieval lead token, probably dating to the period c. AD 1400-1600. The token depicts one one side a long cross with circule around the the middle of the cross, with a pellet in each quarter thus created, surrounded by an outer border of pellets. The opposing side depicts an indecipherable design, possibly lettering or possibly an object. In the current orientation the design is ship-like, possible a mast and the hull, although the token being found so far in land tends to negate this interpretation.
