The object is a cast iron doorstop, in the shape of a horse and is Victorian in age. The obverse of the horse faces west, the object has a glass eye which is coloured blue, and has unfortunately sustained some damage but is still recognisable. The object also appeared to once have a black coloured applied patina, which is now missing but can still be seen slightly in places. The horse appears to have slight decoration around its 'harness' and 'saddle' areas, as well as 'hair' on its mane and tail, all this accompanied with the glass eye and previous patina suggests that is was a well …

Medieval lead papal bulla of Gregory IX dating to the period AD 1227 - 1241. The obverse is the better preserved face and exhibits the legend GRE/GORIVSĀ·/PP VIIIIĀ· within a pelleted outer border. The reverse is worn and pitted. The heads of Saint Paul and Saint Peter are visible, with the legend SPA SPE above. The cord holea are no longer visible due to corrosion. Although elements of the obverse lettering are crisp, the surface patination is not good enough to preserve die-flaw traces, although the first "E" shows the central bar with flanking lines well. An incomplete copper alloy crotal bell of the Post Medieval period (c. AD1760-1850). The bell consists of a sub-rectangular suspension loop below which are two circular perforations on the upper of two hemispheres. There is an integral waistband running circumferentially around the bell. The lower hemisphere has two circular perforations just below the waistband, connected by a centrally placed slot.The ball is still in the bell; it seems to be of a stone or metal slag material. Fragment of Roman copper alloy circular possible plate brooch, broken across central perforation, less than half survives, concentric decoration consists of three engraved lines around a small central perforation and two lines bordering outside edge. Between the two groups of concentric lines is a copper alloy rivet with flattened globular head. Diameter c.29mm. Plate 0.6mm thick. 2nd century.

An incomplete copper alloy flat, enamelled disc brooch (probably originally with peripheral lugs), of Roman date (AD 80 - 250). Much of the edge of the brooch, most enamel deocration and the pin mechanism are missing (old, worn damage). The brooch is flat (1.9mm thick), originally circular, and decorated at its centre with a six-pointed star around a central copper alloy concentric ring c.12mm in diameter. An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to Early Roman (AD 20-70) Colchester one-piece brooch, missing most of the spring mechanism, the pin and the curl of the catchplate (old damage). The short rectangular wings span 10.9mm and are bent backwards. To the reverse of the wings are two protrusions, one extending into a forward-facing hook while the other (the lower) exetnds into one-and-a-bit coils of spring (which in turn would have extended into the pin).
