An incomplete Medieval strap fitting, dating to AD 1350-1450. It consists of a lozange-shaped frame, which define a three-lobed loop. At the point of suspension has a transverse constriction, around which a sub-rectangular copper-alloy sheet is wrapped. The latter is incomplete but still bears a circular rivet hole on the front and traces of the corresponding one on the back. The strap fitting is abraded but in fair condition. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval book clasp with integral forked spacer, dating to the period AD 1300-1450. It consists of a tapering integral forked spacer ending with a pierced oval plano-convex element. The latter has a pierced terminal set at right angle; the terminal is incomplete and is probably moulded in a form of a stylised animal head. Both faces of the forked spacer bear traces of soldering. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval oval buckle, dating to AD 1300-1450. The buckle frame has an oval cross-section and an expanded and ornate outside edge; this decoration consists of three transverse grooves, one of them is in central position to house the missing pin. The pin-bar is off set and narrowed. The buckle misses a portion of the pin-bar and of the bottom edge. It is abraded and slightly bent. An incomplete possibly Medieval buckle, dating to AD 1300-1450. The hinged buckle frame is oval and has a D-shaped cross section with the flat side on the inner edge; on the front face of the outside edge there is a recessed notch for the pin. The bar is riveted through the inside ends of the frame; the riveted bar is incomplete because misses the central section around which the surviving pin was wrapped. An incomplete copper-alloy Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) buckle, dating to AD 450-800. It is an oval frame with an oval cross-section. The pin bar is slightly thinner than the rest of the frame; it is slightly bent in its centre due to use. There is a short pin (7.59 mm) wrapped around the bar. It is oval cross-sectioned and it ends in a blunt tip. It belongs to Marzinzik's Typegroup I, 10d ( cf 2003, p. 362, nos 1-2). A tertiary flint flake of probable later Mesolithic or Neolithic date, c. 6000-2500 BC. Struck from a core of fine grained bluey-grey flint, this piece is blade-like in appearance and likely represents a correction piece originating from a blade core. Triangular in plan, it demonstrates slightly tapering sides that converge to a rounded point, the butt being pointed and the platform of lenticular form.
