An incomplete cast copper alloy lozenge-shaped plate brooch dating to the second century AD. The brooch is tiered on the upper side, with two lozenge shaped tiers rising above the base, each outlined with a ropework moulded border. The base tier retains three of the four oval / rounded knops located at each corner. These knops have a small central recess possibly for decorative inserts which are now missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch (flat wing ends type, Midlands) dating from c. AD 75-175. The brooch has C-shaped arms with a rounded end cap on terminal. The spring, of a different alloy to the brooch, is secured in the arms by way of an axis bar through the end caps and through the double lug located at the head of the bow. The arms have moulded decoration consisting of two pairs of raised vertical ribs with a rope-like moulding within. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative, rear hook brooch dating to the early Roman period. (c. AD 43-65). The brooch has incomplete and worn now almost flat arms that would have been C-shaped in section originally. Faint incised decoration in the form of a saltire can be seen on one of the arms. The spring and pin are both missing. The bow of the brooch is D-shaped in plan and tapers from the head towards the foot, which terminates in a point. The bow is undecorated. On the reverse of the foot the small catch survives but is incomplete.

An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shaped or hinged dolphin style brooch dating to the early Roman period. (c. AD 55-100). The brooch has wide, tubular arms with two sets of incised double linear decoration on each arm. The arms of the brooch are hollow to take an axis bar whch would have supported the hinged pin. Both the axis bar and the pin are now missing. The head of the brooch expands from the flat of the arms and is broadly ovoid in plan, tapering towards the foot of the brooch; the lower half of the bow is broken and missing. The bow has a single moulded vertical rib as decoration.

Fragment of Roman copper alloy circular possible plate brooch, broken across central perforation, less than half survives, concentric decoration consists of three engraved lines around a small central perforation and two lines bordering outside edge. Between the two groups of concentric lines is a copper alloy rivet with flattened globular head. Diameter c.29mm. Plate 0.6mm thick. 2nd century.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester one-piece brooch dating from the Late Iron Age to the early Roman period (c. AD 25-60). The brooch has an ovoid, arched bow with no decoration. The bow tapers from the head to the foot of the brooch, which is missing the tip and the catch plate on the reverse. At the head of the brooch one half of the four-coiled spring mechanism survives. The pin is missing. The copper alloy has suffered some corrosion.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative, rear hook, dolphin style brooch dating to the early Roman period (c. AD 43-65). The brooch has parallel arms with faint moulded ribbing towards the terminals. The bow is oval in plan, curved and tapering towards the foot. There is no decoration on the bow. The spring hook is retained at the head of the brooch but the spring mechanism and the pin are now missing. On the rear of the foot of the brooch is the remains of the small catch.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch, with lower bow and foot missing. Rolled head with pin slot and corroded iron axis bar. There is a slight constriction at the junction of the head and bow. On the broken bow there are central triple ribs between two broad flanking grooves, lower bow and foot missing. Extant length 19mm. Width of head 18mm. c.43 - c.70 century AD.

The brooch has short arms and a rounded, tapering bow which is undecorated. An incomplete cast copper alloy one-piece Nauheim brooch, dating to the Late Iron Age (c. 25-60 AD). The brooch retains two coils of the spring and most of the bow however the foot of the bow, the reverse catchplate and th pin are all missing. The bow is flat in plan and tapers from the squared shoulders at the head down towards the foot. The front of the bow is decorated with faint vertical raised linear mouldings on either lateral edge and a central groove.

An incomplete copper alloy flat, enamelled disc brooch (probably originally with peripheral lugs), of Roman date (AD 80 - 250). Much of the edge of the brooch, most enamel deocration and the pin mechanism are missing (old, worn damage).
The brooch is flat (1.9mm thick), originally circular, and decorated at its centre with a six-pointed star around a central copper alloy concentric ring c.12mm in diameter. An incomplete Roman (AD 75-175) copper alloy Colchester derivative brooch of Polden Hill type, missing spring mechanism and pin and the lower bow and catchplate.
The wings span 21.1mm, are C-shaped in cross-section and bend backwards from the bow. Each terminates in a chunky perforated lug (both 2.3mm thick), both incomplete (old breaks across the perforation). One lug has a single central perforation 1.5mm in diameter, while the other has two side-by-side and off-centre, also 1.5mm diameter. An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to Early Roman (AD 20-70) Colchester one-piece brooch, missing most of the spring mechanism, the pin and the curl of the catchplate (old damage).
The short rectangular wings span 10.9mm and are bent backwards. To the reverse of the wings are two protrusions, one extending into a forward-facing hook while the other (the lower) exetnds into one-and-a-bit coils of spring (which in turn would have extended into the pin).
