An incomplete cast copper alloy lozenge-shaped plate brooch dating to the second century AD. The brooch is tiered on the upper side, with two lozenge shaped tiers rising above the base, each outlined with a ropework moulded border. The base tier retains three of the four oval / rounded knops located at each corner. These knops have a small central recess possibly for decorative inserts which are now missing. A copper-alloy unidentified object of Unknown date and uncertain function in the form of a pierced disc. The disc is sub-circular and flat. An off-centre circular hole has a diameter of 2.8mm. On one side the hole is slightly burred. There is also another circular hole (incomplete) at the edge. This hole has a diameter of 2.0mm. The object is green with patches of a darker green patina. Length: 13.7mm; width: 13.2mm; thickness: 1.4mm. Weight: 1.04g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch (flat wing ends type, Midlands) dating from c. AD 75-175. The brooch has C-shaped arms with a rounded end cap on terminal. The spring, of a different alloy to the brooch, is secured in the arms by way of an axis bar through the end caps and through the double lug located at the head of the bow. The arms have moulded decoration consisting of two pairs of raised vertical ribs with a rope-like moulding within. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative, rear hook brooch dating to the early Roman period. (c. AD 43-65). The brooch has incomplete and worn now almost flat arms that would have been C-shaped in section originally. Faint incised decoration in the form of a saltire can be seen on one of the arms. The spring and pin are both missing. The bow of the brooch is D-shaped in plan and tapers from the head towards the foot, which terminates in a point. The bow is undecorated. On the reverse of the foot the small catch survives but is incomplete.

A medieval (1150-1450) copper alloy oval buckle frame and plate, missing its pin. The frame is oval in shape with a narrowed, offset bar and a transverse groove in the outside edge. The frame is not lipped but does expand in its width (14.3mm wide and 13.3mm long). The plate is rectangular in shape and parallel sided, formed of a piece of shet copper alloy 0.7mm thick bent around the axis bar of the frame. An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shaped or hinged dolphin style brooch dating to the early Roman period. (c. AD 55-100). The brooch has wide, tubular arms with two sets of incised double linear decoration on each arm. The arms of the brooch are hollow to take an axis bar whch would have supported the hinged pin. Both the axis bar and the pin are now missing. The head of the brooch expands from the flat of the arms and is broadly ovoid in plan, tapering towards the foot of the brooch; the lower half of the bow is broken and missing. The bow has a single moulded vertical rib as decoration.

Fragment of Roman copper alloy circular possible plate brooch, broken across central perforation, less than half survives, concentric decoration consists of three engraved lines around a small central perforation and two lines bordering outside edge. Between the two groups of concentric lines is a copper alloy rivet with flattened globular head. Diameter c.29mm. Plate 0.6mm thick. 2nd century.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester one-piece brooch dating from the Late Iron Age to the early Roman period (c. AD 25-60). The brooch has an ovoid, arched bow with no decoration. The bow tapers from the head to the foot of the brooch, which is missing the tip and the catch plate on the reverse. At the head of the brooch one half of the four-coiled spring mechanism survives. The pin is missing. The copper alloy has suffered some corrosion.

The brooch has parallel arms with faint moulded ribbing towards the terminals. The bow is oval in plan, curved and tapering towards the foot. There is no decoration on the bow. The spring hook is retained at the head of the brooch but the spring mechanism and the pin are now missing. On the rear of the foot of the brooch is the remains of the small catch.

The outside edge is flat and wide with a central transverse notch for the pin and there is an oval moulding on the arms of the frame at either end of the axis bar. the axis bar has a central thickened area, suggesting the areas to either side have been worn from the rotating arms of the mising plate (perhaps). The bow is flat in plan and tapers from the squared shoulders at the head down towards the foot. The front of the bow is decorated with faint vertical raised linear mouldings on either lateral edge and a central groove.
