An incomplete Medieval copper alloy strap end dating to AD 1275 to 1450. The strap end consists of two pieces of copper alloy sheet forming the front and back plates. The sheets are trapezoidal in shape and riveted togheter with two rivets in situ, one near each end. The strap end is triangular in long section with a gap between the plates at the attachment end to take the strap, the gap is now filled with soil. Early medieval lead alloy spindle whorl. 29mm in diameter, 10mm thick with a weight of 52.12grams. The whorl is circular in form and sub semi-circular in cross section with a flat upper and smaller, flat lower edge and curving sides. The whorl has an internal circular hole 11mm in diameter and is plain.. The object conforms to Walton Rogers form A2, which she dates to AD 700-1100.

Two copper alloy fragments, possibly from Roman objects. One weighs 4g is 2.7mm thick and 26.5mm long with moulded linear decoration and a smooth downturned edge. The second weighs 0.7g, is 0.9mm thick and 18.3mm long, with raised moulded ridges and border profile suggesting that it formed part of a flat, oval object. Possibly a fragment of a 2nd-3rd century Roman disc brooch, such as Hattatt (2000), p364, number 1213.
