A milled silver coin (probably a sixpence of William III) worn flat and stamped with a number of motifs, probably dating c. 1696-1900. These motifs include a single letter 'P' on a triangle on one face, while on the opposing face two sets of initials (EF and RJ) are visible, adjacent to a punch of a letter '8', an axe, and a second letter 'P' in a triangle as on the opposing face.
A number of worn coins counterstamped in this way have been recorded on the PAS database. All tend to be of William III, and often demonstrate multiple stamps that appear to vary in date from the 18th-19t…

Neolithic (Early) end scraper, 47mm long, 30mm wide, 9mm thick and 14.6g in weight. Made on a mid brown and opaque caramel brown flint. The scraper has been fashioned on a rounded flake and has been semi-abruptly retouched around the entire edge. More invasively towards the distal end. The dorsal face possesses two parallel and unidirectional flake scars separated by a central ridge. The butt is plain.

A complete copper alloy Romano-British cosmetic pestle, from a small portable grinding set. The piece is cresent-shaped and has a large central loop offset on one edge of its concave side. The loop is closely connected to the rod, without a neck or shank. The rod is plump and slightly asymmetrical, with both ends tapering to a point. The object has a mid-green patina and is in overall good condition, with some areas of corrosion or wear around the inner loop and pitting on surfaces. An incomplete copper alloy medieval double loop buckle missing the pin, dating from 1350-1400. The loops are D shaped, and semi circular in cross section. The pin bar is sub triangular in cross section, and worn in the centre from the pin. The pin is a piece of copper alloy wire wrapped around the pin bar, and narrowing to a point. It has a red brown patina. The buckle has a green patina. The buckle measures 19.9mm in length, 15.9mm in width, and weighs 1.08g.
This is similar to a buckle in Egan and Pritchard 1991, 83, 332.

Medieval copper alloy vessel fragment, 73mm in length, 64mm wide and 11mm thick with a weight of 140 grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and consists of a fragmentary rim sherd, with a sub triangular body section attached. It has signs of repair, especially visible on the lower image. A second layer of metal has been added and it has been modelled to match up with the projection of the original rim projection, which is 20mm wide.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy fragment originating from a probable box or casket mount of Medieval date, c. 1100-1400. Only around a third of the original mount survives- consisting one terminal end and the lower mid-section of the piece, with the rest of the object missing in old damage. Originally, the complete object would have been bar-shaped (sub-rectangular) in plan and is plano-convex in section, with a rounded upper surface and flattened underside. Possible Roman iron object, 102mm in length, 32mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 23.47grams. The object is T shaped in form and rectangular in cross section. It has two short right angled projections at one end which are seperated by a semi-circlular depression on the outer surface, which continues down the front as a concave shallow recess for 20-30mm. The object is possibly a T-shaped clamp which would have been used in the fixing of a variety of architectural elements, especially box flue-tiles. See NMS-8225A8 Cf. Manning 1985, 131-2, R70-2.

An incomplete copper alloy Romano-British Headstud brooch, dating to AD 75-125. The bow is complete, tapering slightly and terminating in a foot knob which has narrow transverse mouldings above and below. The front of the bow is decorated with a lattice of small lozenges, running down its length from a small dot and circle headstud at the shoulder. A medieval copper alloy single loop buckle, dating from c. AD 1230-1260. The frame is D shaped, with the outer frame widening slightly. The inside edge is bevelled. The pin bar is slightly offset, with squared off ends. These are very worn and were possibly originally knops projecting out. The pin bar is sub triangular in shape, with the pin missing. There are worn grooves in the bar, probably from where the pin has worn. The buckle has a red brown patina, and measures 23.1mm in length, 19.2mm in width, and weighs 2.42g.

Neolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Later) disc-scraper, 59mm long, 47mm wide, 8mm thick and 27.7g in weight. Made on an opaque mid grey flint this disc scraper has been produced on a flake by a prepared core technique similar to Levallois. The piece has been semi-abruptly retouched around the entire edge which has removed the butt. Their has even been working on the ventral face to removed the bulb of percussion, presumably to flatten the piece even further. Incomplete Early Saxon sleeve clasp of Hines' (1993) form B13a dating to the period c. AD 450 - 550. A bar consisting of three flat rectangular bosses joined together by two D-sectioned bars decorated with multiple longitudinal grooves is attached the remains of a sheet copper alloy plate by three integrally cast rivets.
