An incomplete middle early-medieval (Anglo Saxon, c.700-900) copper alloy polyhedral-headed pin, missing part of the shaft. The head is flat (sub-rectangular in cross-section) and square with the corners cut off in shape. Three of the resulting points are flattened while the edges of the head are faceted, sloping away from a central ridge. The head (6.8x7.7x3.4mm) has thirteen facets in total, with a rib collar at the fourth point and the shank (1.3mm diameter) extending beyond to an old break. A medieval (1270-1450) copper alloy simple bar mount, rectangular in shape with a central circular perforation 2.4mm in diameter and a small central rivet hole at either end, 0.8mm in diameter. It is a very elongated D-shape in cross-section, being flat to the reverse and slightly convex to the front (max. 0.8mm thick at centre, min.0.7mm thick at the edges). The reverse is undecorated while the front has (remaining) two raised ribs and a corresponding groove flanking one long edge, and a raised ridge flanking the other long edge. A small, early post-medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy book-clasp, complete with copper alloy back plate. At one end, the book-clasp has a 6.3mm wide hook which curves to the reverse and stops just before extending parallel to its front. Below the hook is a rectangular expansion 12.1mm wide before extending into the body of the object which has incurved edges and a flared terminal. A fragment of copper alloy Roman brooch consisting of part of the lower bow and openwork catchplate, probably of Colchester derivative type, dating to c. AD 43 - 150. The bow is lozengiform in cross-section, measuring 4.8x4.5mm at the (very worn) break and narrowing to a worn tip measuring 3.0mm wide. Two worn, sub-triangular projections extend to the reverse at either end of the section of bow; these are the surviving pieces of openwork catchplate and 1.8mm thick.
