A hammered silver penny of Edward III. (1327-1377). Minted at Durham, Post treaty issue of 1369-1377. The coin has been double struck. Obverse: crowned bust facing, EDW[....]. Reverse: Long cross with quatrefoil at centre quartering coin, three pellets in each angle within inner pelleted border, [CIVI/TAS]/DVN / O[LM].
