Body fragment from Roman vessel (c. 43 - 410 AD), probably black burnished ware. The fragment is from the body of the vessel, with a small bit of rim along one edge. The broken edges are heavily abraded. The sherd is the same colour throughout, being a very dark grey, verging on black. The fabric is hard, with no inclusions. The surface of the fragment is very scratched and slightly cracked. The fragment is 51.03mm in length, 35.07mm in width and 5.20mm in thickness. It weighs 33g.

Copper-alloy fragment from a vessel of uncertain date. The fragment is broadly rectangular and slightly curved. The top, unbroken inner edge is bevelled. The inner face is smooth with horizontal grooves running across it, probably as a result of being spun during manufacture. The outer face is rougher and scratched; no horizontal grooves are visible. The fragment has a dark green patina. It is 54.51mm in length, 32.74mm in width and 3.13mm in thickness. It weighs 29.12g.

Lead ball, possibly shot, dating to the post-medieval period (c. 1600 - 1800 AD). The object is largely spherical but is slightly misshapen. A rectangular flap at one end has separated slightly from the body of the object, possibly as a result of impact. A thin lead strip runs around the circumference of the ball. Large lead steelyard weight of probable Roman date (c. 43 - 410 AD). The weight is biconical and irregular in shape. There is a hollow section at the top of the weight where an iron hook originally would have extended; this is now missing. The object has a rough, cream-coloured patina. Cast copper alloy complete unlooped palstave axe probably dating to the Middle Bronze Age palstave 1450 to 1300 BC. The axe is of shares similarities with the Taunton metalwork assemblage and Hotham related to the palstaves of the Acton Park metalwork assemblage to which it bears some resemblance similar to Needham et al fig 140 (1985) and Read (1995: p.3 fig 9 ). An incomplete cast copper alloy dagger dating from the Early Bronze Age, c.2150-c.1500BC. The object is a butt riveted small blade dagger or knife with triangular blade. The blade would have been attached to the hilt by means of three large rivets, the top side one is still in place. The rivet is circular in cross-section and flat-hourglass-shaped in plan. The other two are missing and the other rivet holes are incomplete due to breaks or possibly corrosion. A complete cast copper alloy socketed axe of Late Bronze Age date (1000 - 800 BC). The object can be classified as the Ewart Park phase of metalwork. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with the cutting edge expanding outwards to form a convex cutting edge. The socket has a sub square mouth, is deep and the insides are smooth.
