Object type: STUD
Broad period: ROMAN
County: Gloucestershire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
~~Copper alloy stud with a solid globular head and short protruding rod at its base. The rod is complete (9mm long, 3.5mmx4mm thick) and has a roughly square cross-section with rounded corners. The terminal of the rod is slightly expanded with a low domed tip, it does not appear to be truncated ruling out the possibility that this is a pinhead.
