An incomplete cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval double-looped buckle dating c. 1550 - 1650. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear and has two equal oval loops. The strap bar is equal size to the outer frame, convex at the front and flat at the rear. The bar extends beyond the frame at each side to form small pointed knops. At each outside edge of the frame there is a moulded rosette motif. One loop is bent upwards in antiquity. The buckle is mainly of a dark grey colour with some light green patches. A fragment of the rim of a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel of late Medieval to Post medieval date ( 1450-1600 ). The fragment is roughly rectangular, 36.07mm long, 26.42mm wide, 4.83mm in thickness and weighs 17.2g. The fragment shows a curvature that indicates that the original diameter of the vessel would have been approx 34cms. The exterior surface is slightly pitted, but almost entirely coated in burnt black organic matter from when the vessel was near the fire.
