An incomplete copper-alloy brooch, possibly Anglo-Saxon in date. Missing the pin and the edge of the catch plate, the brooch has been twisted at the bow. The brooch has a cruciform shaped head attached to a central bow, the foot of the brooch is diamond shaped. There is a ring and dot punch in the centre of the both the cruciform head and the diamond-shaped foot. The bow has been decorated with a single central horizontal line/groove a second horizontal line/groove sits at the junction of the bow and foot. An exact parallel couldn't be found but it is similar in shape to a Anglo-Saxon…

A fragment of a silver Roman spoon, with only a small section of the bowl and stem remaining. The bowl probably would have been either oval or pear-shaped. The stem has an oval section and a surving length of c. 6mm and a thickness of 1.62mm. The stem and bowl join to form a rats tail which extends across the remaining length of the bowl. This object is similar to a spoon from cornwall CORN-C3F239 (https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/814858) and is also similar to Frere, S. 1972. Verulamium Excavations. Page 124, no. 74.
