GENIO-POP ROM reverse type depicting Genius standing left, modius(?) on head, loins draped, holding patera and cornucopiae, altar to left. Mint of Lyon (Lugudunum). As RIC VI, p.264 no.287.

Fragment of a Roman copper alloy armlet dating to the period c. AD 250- 409. Rectangular-sectioned with an old break at either end. Decoration comprises a group of three rectangular bosses, each of which exhibits a central circular recess, separated by two ridges followed by a longer rectangular boss with no recess.

A fragment of a silver Roman spoon, with only a small section of the bowl and stem remaining. The bowl probably would have been either oval or pear-shaped. The stem has an oval section and a surving length of c. 6mm and a thickness of 1.62mm. The stem and bowl join to form a rats tail which extends across the remaining length of the bowl.
This object is similar to a spoon from cornwall CORN-C3F239 (https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/814858) and is also similar to Frere, S. 1972. Verulamium Excavations. Page 124, no. 74.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, Polden Hill brooch, group b (Bayley & Butcher, 2004; 91) dating AD 50 - 150. Only the head of the brooch remains. The bow is decorated with two parallel grooves running down the bow forming a simplistic crest. The wings are oval in cross section and decorated with ridges at each terminal. The iron spring is badly corroded. The rest of the brooch has a dark green patina. Length 24.36mm, width 26.50mm, thickness 14.74mm and weight 14.10g.

An incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative, double-lugged, Harlow brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43-100). The head consists of two C-sectioned wings, with a double lug on the reverse. The lower lug retains the remains of the spring, while the upper lug retains the chord. The rest of the spring and the pin are now missing. The bow is semi-circular in cross section and it bears, on its front, three longitudinal grooves. The bow tapers towards a worn break. The brooch has a dark green patina.
