A flint fabricator of uncertain date, possibly Mesolithic in age c. 9000BC-3300BC Description: The fabricator is formed from a thick ovoid heavily worked tertiary flake. with narrow sides. In cross-section the fabricator is triangular. Retouch on the ventral face is extensive and clearly defined being invasive scaled semi-abrupt. Both faces exhibit parallel, invasive, low angle retouch around their perimeter, with a small area of short, scalar, low angle retouch below and to the left of the point on one face.
