Post medieval copper alloy circular escutcheon, possibly a furniture fitting or belt mount, circa 17th century. The design of the face incorporates radial incised lines within parallel solid linear borders around a domed and pierced central boss. The border and central boss are moulded in slight relief to the rest of the face. The reverse is blank.

Face of a copper alloy military button, 19th century. Design comprises a light infantry horn surrounded by a garter belt with legend ROYAL ELTHORNE.M.M. The belt is surmounted by a crown and radial lines. This is a button from a uniform of the Royal Elthorne or 5th Middlesex Light Infantry Militia, raised in 1853 which later became the 3rd battalion of the Middlesex Regiment in 1881.
