The weight is circular with a raised rim dating to AD 1702-1714.Stamped on its upper surface with a crowned A (for Queen Anne);the Sword of the City of London; a 'ewer' coffee pot, which is the mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders who were controllers of sizing and marking weights in London and a second letter A. There is also a 'ewer' coffee pot, which is the mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders who were controllers of sizing and marking weights in London. The final mark is the letter D.
