A probably Late Iron Age or Roman (200 BC - AD 410) copper alloy ring or bead, measuring 14.1mm in diameter (internal diameter 8.2mm) and weighing 2.64g. It has a sub-lozengiform cross-section with a slight central ridge to the inside surface, a beaded rim flanking each edge, and the area between occupied by three concentric ridges (the central one of which is higher than the other two, which are in turn higher than the beaded rim). It is max.6.0mm wide and min.5.5mm wide. The object has a brownish-dark grey smooth patina.
