Fragment of a copper alloy Early Saxon cruciform brooch, probably Martin Type 1, dating to the period c. AD 420 - 500. Only the tip of the foot survives. It commences in an old break below which are traces of a ridged collar. The moulded zoomorphic foot in the form of an animal's head with ridged double collar at the top exhibits bulbous eyes set either side of a long triangular-sectioned head and bulbous flared nostrils with a rounded snout. A small fragment of the catchplate projects from just below the break.

A fragment of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy ansate brooch (700-900). Weetch Type V. This fragment is a trapezoidal terminal with a pin-lug on the reverse. The front has a central ring-and-dot motif surrounded by six similar but smaller motifs. The pin-lug is 'D'-shaped in side view. At either side of the lug there is a deposit of corroded iron. The object has a green patina. Height: 10.9mm; width: 10.4mm; thickness: 11.9mm. Weight: 2.60g. Compare with: IOW-A0A156.

A complete post medieval copper alloy belt fitting or mount, dating to the 17th Century AD. The mount have two moulded oval shapes in the centre, which project out either side into a sub triangular shape. At each end the mount terminates with a trefoil. On the reverse are two integral lugs which are folded back towards the centre of the mount. One of the lugs is worn and broken, the other terminates with a rounded edge. The mount has a light green patina, and measures 40.5mm in length, 13.7mm in width, and weighs 9.46g. Similar mounts can be seen in Read 2001, page 34.

Early to middle Saxon copper alloy catch or hook-clasp for fastening a box dating to the period c. AD 650-750. At one end is a flat circular loop with a central circular perforation. The opposing terminal is similarly flattened, however, the loop is incomplete and may have originally termninated in a hook. The central part of the object is rectangular. The reverse has a projecting flange running down the centre. Similar in form to examples from Coddenham, Suffolk (SF-74FF25) & Easton, Cambridgeshire (SF-090F45). Another identical example was found 40m to the north in 2021 (NMS-A2F957).

A contemporary copy plated and clipped halfcrown of Charles I AD 1625-1649. The core of the coin is copper with an external silver plate. The obverse is extremely worn and has been pierced. The unclear obverse would have shown the monarch riding a horse left sword raised. Only one hind leg and the tail of a horse, along with a sword can just be seen on the obverse.
