A complete lead-alloy button of Post-Medieval date. The head is discoidal and solid with a slightly convex or flat front and slightly concave or flat back. There is a simple looped shank with no stem, the two ends of the loop being separately attached to the head, slightly off-centre i.e. not along a diameter; the shank is circular in cross-section.
