A cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval s-shaped fastener dating to the 16th to 18th centuries. The fastener is S-shaped in plan and has a widened middle section that tapers towards the terminals at either end. The upper most terminal consists of the reptile's head with a large eye under a slightly protruding raised eyebrow and closed mouth. The other terminal - the snake's tail - is pointed and plain. An incomplete copper-alloy T-shaped sawfish brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43-200). The brooch consists of plain cylindrical wings which encases the surviving hinge mechanism and the now missing pin. The bow of the brooch, extending centrally from the underside of the bar, comprises a flat plate that gradually tapers towards the foot. A copper-alloy pin dating to the Roman period. The pin consists of a circular-section stem which at one end is decorated with a 9mm section of horizontal grooves which create the head. At the other end, the stem tapers to a point. The stem of the pin is bent and split approximately 12mm underneath the grooved decoration at just over a 90 degree angle. The pin measures 66mm in length and 3mm in maximum diameter. It weighs 2.77 grams.
