Elizabeth I (1558-1603) silver half groat with damaged flan. Obverse heavilly worn, but probably crowned bust left with two pellets behind E D G ROS(A SINE SPINA). Reverse undated with hand mint mark and square shield on cross fourchee. (CIVITAS LON)DON. Third issue, Tower of London mint 1589-92. Compares favourably to Spink 2579 / North 2016.
