Medieval copper alloy heraldic harness pendant, 34mm in length, 21mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 4.07grams. The object is scutiform with a rectangular cross section. It is in poor condition with incomplete edges and has an incomplete suspension loop emerging from the centre of its straight upper edge. The pendant has a raised area of white enamel in the form of a lion/big cat which is crouching left and has a very long tail.

Early medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch, AD 450-650. Length: 70 mm, width: 24 mm, thickness: 8 mm, weight: 9.36 g. The brooch is almost complete, its rectangular headplate is missing its upper and left (as shown) lappet. The remaining one is decorated with a series on ring in dot motifs on its outer rounded edge. Obverse: plumed bird right, head bent down, triple-tail, cross pommee between beak and front feet, pellets in field. Reverse: beaded standard with central pellet in annulet, lines and pellets within, crosses and pellets in margin. Just over half the original flan survives due to an irregular old break. A polished, Neolithic stone axehead (c. 4000 - 2350 BC). The axehead is broadly trapezoidal, with a wide convex cutting edge, quite straight sides tapering to a narrow butt. It is broadly oval in cross section but both edges are faceted. This feature and the material the axe is made from suggest that the axe probably comes from the Great Langdale axe factory (in the Lake District). The cuttiing edge has a series of chips on both faces. there are also a number of large chips out of the butt.
