A cast copper alloy 'signet' finger ring with an incised / engraved seal matrix bezel of probable very late medieval or early post medieval date (AD 1400 - 1600). The hoop of the finger ring is incomplete and distorted - approximately 60% of the ring is complete. Damaged remains of a flint tool, probably a knife of Neolithic to Bronze age date. The piece is leaf shaped but much larger than an arrowhead. The outline appears mainly complete but breaks on both faces mean the extent of original retouch and exact form of the edges is unclear. A small amount of cortext (c.10% of the face) remains near the point on one face which may indicate it is unfinished and broke during production. The object consists of a rectangular plate with a central, circular perforation running top to bottom through the centre of each long, lateral edge. On the lower edge the aperture is heavily worn and is contained within a hemispherical depression. Incomplete medieval to post-medieval composite copper alloy unidentified object, possibly a strap fitting, comprising a discoidal back-plate with separately applied (soldered) sheet strip, the ends butted together to form a bordering rim, within which a central rivet retains a central boss of twin hemispheres above another domed element and a concave octofoil. On the reverse the remains of a sheet strip, broken at both ends. Diameter 17mm. Height (length of rivet) 10mm. Perhaps 14th century.

Similar objects have been found in Norfolk at Oxborough, Beachamwell and Stoke Ferry (NMS-2176B4). Height 8mm. Width/diameter 10.5mm. Width, including lugs, 21mm. Perhaps 14th - 17th century.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Medieval buckle plate, dating to AD 1250-1450. It is a sub-rectangular sheet of metal, which has a longitudinal slot on one end, as remainder of the pin slot, while on the other broken end there is trace of a circular rivet hole. The plate has another circular hole close to the pin-slot, which bears the copper-alloy rivet still in situ. One of the face retains a pacth of white metal coating. A complete cast copper-alloy personal seal matrix dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1300. It is circular in plan, demonstrating a prominent projecting circular suspension lug at its upper edge coincident with a prominent midrib. The opposing face of the seal has the ornately engraved central design of a curled up lion, accompanied by the inscription '*S'ROGERI STORMI' (Seal of Roger Storm/Roger Stormy). Obverse: inscription HIS HALF PENY in three lines within inner pelleted border, *IAMES*WARWELL*OF Reverse: crown over lis, *GROTTON DRAPER 1668 Farthing trade tokens were first issued in 1648 as a response to the lack of small change, with halfpenny tokens following in 1656. The button is an enlisted mans large size coat button from the British Army regiment made up of American colonists loyal to the British crown fighting in the American Revolutionary War.
