An incomplete copper-alloy French jetton dating to the Medieval period (probably c. AD 1418 to 1437). The obverse depicts the Shield of France with a small couronelle above and three pellets each side with a fictitious legend. The reverse depicts a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in a four arched tressure. Probably mint of Paris. Similar to Mitchener p. 193, no. 531.

Obverse: Rose surrounded by three fleur-de-lis alternating with three crowns; legend reads rosetteGLICK :KVMPT: VON: GOT. Reverse: Imperial orb surmounted by a cross within an ornamental tressure that has three main arches; three pair of pellets outside the tressure; legend reads rosette HANS rosette SCHVLTES[...] NOR. Cracked edge. Very worn.
