A slightly worn and clipped hammered and slightly worn silver medieval halfpenny of Richard II (1377-1399), North (1991) No. 1331b, Withers (2002,45) type 1d, Minted at London. This coin while in good conditions shows wear and pitting to the letters which likely relates to the rusted dies used to strike the coins as mentioned by Withers (2002, 45) Measurements: 14.62mm in diameter, 0.57mm thick and 0.47g in weight.
