A Post Medieval copper alloy button dating from AD 1780-1783. The button front has a crown and the letters 'RP' (Royal Provincials) below. The button is an enlisted mans large size coat button from the British Army regiment made up of American colonists loyal to the British crown fighting in the American Revolutionary War. On the reverse is a mould line and two hole for the iron shank, now missing. Dimensions: diameter: 22.84mm; weight: 5.05g

A complete Post Medieval, copper alloy cuff link or cuff button representing Admiral George Brydges Rodney (AD 1718-1792), dating to AD1759 -1792. Each fastener is oval and depicts a bust of Admiral Rodney in incised profile facing right with 'ADM RODNEY' above. The rear of the fasteners is undecorated. Each fastener has an integral looped shank and are joined by an oval link. Dimensions of individual fastener: length: 15.49mm; width: 12.06mm; weight: 2.09g Other cufflinks on the database depicting Admirals are IOW-454C41 and LON-9389FA.

The fastener is oval in plan and depicts a circular air balloon conected via four ropes to a gondola (boat) beneath with flags protruding from either side all within an annulated border.
