An incomplete Post Medieval lead-alloy button, dating from about AD 1500-1650. The button is sub-conical and solid, with a convex front and a flat back. The front of the button has a central boss or pimple and eight radiating raised ribs within a hatched field. There is a casting seam on the back of the button and the remains of an integral attachment loop. PUBLIC-89D9BC is very similar and cites Read (2005) page 56 no. 207 which shows a similar button with a date of range of the 16th century to early 17th century. A copper alloy strap fitting; an S shaped "snake" belt fastener of Post Medieval date, AD 1550 - 1900 or later. It is S shaped and zoomorphic, having the head of a snake at one end; the other end is broken. No decoration on the body of the snake is visible. There is a copper alloy loop, perhaps a link from a chain, round the neck of the complete terminal. The fastener displays a rough, dark green patina. A Post Medieval strap fitting; the hook piece from a sword belt fitting dating from AD 1500 - 1700. The plate is sub-triangular in basic outline, with a wide three lobed terminal at one end, and a narrower lobe at the other end. The forward curving hook is missing. The plate is pierced by an iron rivet, of which only traces now survive, in the middle of the three lobed terminal. The front of the plate is decorated with a foliate design covering the plate. A copper alloy probable strap end of Early Medieval date, about AD 750 - 950. It is probably of Thomas Class A, uncertain subtype. It is incomplete, both ends having broken off, but the central part has convex sides which are scalloped. There is a central rectangular panel which appears to be decorated with an inscription or maybe just two letters: a Roman N [retrograde] and a curved letter which is incomplete. A copper alloy Roman brooch fragment; the enamelled constricting collar from the head loop of a brooch, probably a headstud brooch dating from AD 75 - 200. The collar is rectangular, but corroded so the edges are rounded. A slot in the reverse allows the wire that forms the headloop of the brooch to pass through the collar, being constricted by it to form the neck below the head loop. A Medieval single loop, D-shaped copper alloy buckle with a lipped frame and a narrowed and offset strap bar, of Meols type 4, dating from AD 1350 - 1450. The upper side of the frame is bevelled and the pointed and projecting lip has a central pin notch. The pin and plate are missing. It is 17.5mm long, 24.3mm wide and 4.8mm thick. It weighs 3.93gm. A copper alloy strap end, dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1200 - 1400. It consists of two sub-rectangular plates, which taper from a square attachment end to a rounded outer end, and are held together by two copper alloy rivets, one at teach end. Both rivets remain in place. The strap end is undecorated and has a patchy, smooth, green patina. It is 20.6mm long, 8.3mm wide and 2.7mm thick. It weighs 1.42gm. Strap ends of this type are illustrated in Egan, 1991, Dress Accessories c. 1150 - 1450, page 133, number 609, though the rivet arrangement is different.

The upper side is bevelled and the underside is flat. The buckle has a patchy, dark green patina. It is 28.9mm long, 26mm wide and 3.1mm thick. It weighs 5.42gm.
