A sherd from the handle of a Medieval vessel. The 'strap' handle is a flat oval in cross section, with a central grove running horizontally on the oyter side. There are remains of a red-brown galze on both sides. The fabric is orange-red and is fully fired with no core. The fragment is 28mm long, 22mm wide and 7mm thick. it weighs 6.6g.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy buckle consisting of a frame and plate (c. 1200-c. 1450). The pin is missing. The frame is oval in plan, convex at the front and flat at the rear and measures 11.5mm in length, 16.3mm in width and 1.8mm in thickness. It has an ornate outside edge and a narrowed off-set bar. A complete post-Medieval lead alloy double-sided token (1500-1850). Powell Type 2/1. Both sides have a raised design. One side has initial letters (possibly] and the other side has a crudely executed six-petalled 'compass-drawn' flower head formed of segments. This token is light buff. Diameter: 19.0mm. A complete lead alloy possible spindle whorl of Unknown date (c. 43-c. 1800). The spindle whorl is circular in plan and is hemi-spherical, domed at the top and flat on the underside. A central hole has parallel sides and is 7.4mm in diameter. This spindle whorl is greyish buff. Length: 18.0mm; width: 17.4mm; thickness: 7.8mm. Weight: 12.42g. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval or post-Medieval.
