An unidentified cast lead object of unknown function from the Post Medieval to Modern period (AD1500-1900). The object is formed from two oval sides joined by a wide bar at their upper end; the bar is faceted throughout. Both sides are bent towards the centre, one more than the other.The general patina is an almost white colour with some grey patches showing the metal; this could be from modern damage. An incomplete knapped flint leaf-shaped arrowhead of Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 3000 BC. Manufactured on a by a tertiary flake of fine grained greyish flint that has now patinated white/mottled blue, it is ogival in plan- demonstrating a rounded butt and curving sides that taper towards the now missing tip. A Mesolithic or Neolithic flint adze or pick (c. 10000 -c. 3500 BC) . This object has been made on an elongated flint nodule. It is sub-oval in cross-section except at the butt end where it is sub triangular in cross-section. The dorsal face has about 80% off-white cortex and the ventral face has been crudely flaked all over. A large indentation on the ventral face appears to have been made deliberately. An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval annular buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650). The frame is circular in plan, 33.95 mm in diameter, 2.57 mm thick and 4.71 mm in height, and with straight inner edge and bevelled outer edge. Both the frame and the bar are corroded and pitted in places and has a dark brown patina. The central bar is 2.31mm thick and has a flat back and rounded front side. The buckle is missing its pin. Whitehead (1996) illustrates a similar annular buckles on page 45, no.256, which is dated from c.1350 to 1650.
