A complete lead alloy bifaced token of post medieval date. It is circular in plan wand rectangular in cross section. The upper face is decorated with a complex mark - possibly a 17th century privy seal comprissing a vertically aligned letter T with two wedge shapes joining the vertical shaft - possibly forming the letter A - in the voids created by these limbs are round pellets. The reverse shows an Axe over a vetical cross. The token has a grey coloured surface patina. Diameter: 19.2mm, thickness: 2.7mm, weight: 6.40 grams

A complete lead alloy unifaced token or possibly gaming counter / token. It is circular in plan with a raised central boss giving it a D shaped section. The upper face is decorated with a poorly aligned vertical cross which divides the flan unevenly - within each quarter is a single boss like pellet. The reverse is plain and undecorated. The weight has a grey coloured surface patina. Diameter: 20.5mm, thickness: 5.6mm, weight: 11.41 grams

A lead-alloy Medieval private seal matrix, dating to AD 1200-1300. It is vesica-shaped and it is slightly bent at the middle giving the back face a concave profile. The die has a vesica-shaped central panel inscribing C(R) set longitudinally; the surrounding legend reads: +S'WALTERIPIE. A late medieval/ post-medieval copper- or lead-alloy finger-ring with an undecorated rectangular bezel. The hoop is D-shaped in cross-section,being flat to the inside surface. The metal has badly worn and corroded, especially at the back of the hoop (5.7x1.5mm). The hoop thickens at the shoulders (c.2mm at the base) and expands in width at the top to measure 7.8x3.9mm. The rectangular bezel measures 15.6mm long, 7.8mm wide and 2.7mm thick. The finger-ring measures 23.2mm in height and 23.3.mm in width, with an internal diameter of 19.5mm. It weighs 4.48g. An incomplete lead-alloy possibly Medieval unidentified object, dating to AD 1250-1450. It is pointed oval in plan and it looks like a vesica-shaped seal matrix. One face of the object bears three raised lines crossed almost at the centre of the face and other thinner raised lines running transversely. The othe face bears a slightly raised circular border with unclear pellet decoration; this face is slightly concave. The object appears like two seals stuck onto each other. A post-medieval (c.1600-1900) cast lead alloy possible palm guard for use by a leather worker or sail maker to protect the palm whilst stitching. The shape of this example (oval, and thicker to one long edge than the other) suggests it may have solidifed in a shell. The underside is flat with an off-centre raised ring; to the opposite face this is at the centre of a wider (and more roughly shaped) circular depression. An incomplete lead or lead alloy pilgrims ampulla dating from the medieval period; circa late 13th - late 15th century (AD 1250-1500). The fragment consists of the lower rounded body of the ampulla. The neck of the ampulla is missing. On one face the object has been decorated with a series of emanating ribs that represent the scallop shell which is associated with the pilgrim site of St James of Compostela in Spain.
