An incomplete cast copper alloy 'stirrup' finger ring of probable Medieval date (AD 1200-1450). The hoop of the finger ring is distorted, and broken across the mid-point of the both broken edges are abraded and worn suggesting damage in antiquity. From the break the hoop flares (expands) at the shoulders of the ring to form a relatively plain decorated bezel. The bezel projects from the hoop and is rhomboid in section. The bezel is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section - an oval shaped depression filled with light green corrosion is presnet on the exterior face.…

A possible copper alloy Roman brooch fragment dating to circa AD 43-200. The fragment consists of part of the bow and head. The wings, spring mechanism, pin, foot and catchplate are all missing. The object is broadly an inverted triangle in form. It is broad at the top and narrows to broken lower edge. There is iron staining on the head which could indicate the object once had an iron pin. The object has a mid-green coloured abraded patina. The fragment measures 22.5 mm in length, 11.8 mm in width, 8.7 mm in thickness and it weighs 4 grams.

A possible copper alloy Roman brooch fragment dating to circa AD 43-200. The fragment consists of part of the bow. The wings, spring mechanism, pin, foot and catchplate are all missing. The bow is convex on the front and flat on the reverse. The object has some moulding detail at the upper edge.Just below are two horizontal ribs in light relief. These are visible at the front only and do not extend to the reverse. The object has a mid-green coloured abraded patina. The fragment measures 20.4 mm in length, 9.1 mm in width, 3.7 mm in thickness and it weighs 2.8 grams.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy knife pommel or end-cap (c 1520-c. 1530). The object is circular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. It tapers in thickness. At the top the thickness is 4.0mm and at the bottom it is 5.8mm thick. At the bottom a slot accommodates a tang of the knife, the remains of which are still present as iron corrosion.
