A complete copper-alloy mount of medieval date, c.AD 1300 - 1500. The mount is sexfoil in plan comprising six convex roundels with a domed profile. A central perforation is present through which a rivet would have fitted to hold the mount onto a strap or similar. The rivet no longer survives. The surface of the mount is undecorated.
The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The mount is 12.9mm in diameter, 0.6mm thick and weighs 0.6g.

An incomplete copper-alloy mount of probable Early-Medieval date, c.AD 800 - 900.
The mount is rectangular with a worn break to one end and an integral circular sectioned shaft projecting to one end of the reverse.
The upper surface is decorated with a worn Trewhiddle style beast set within a thick raised border. The body of the beast faces right and is formed of double raised ridges. The head of the beast faces forward and is sub-ovate in shape. Gilding is retained within some of the recessed areas of the decoration.
