A complete copper-alloy mount of medieval date, c.AD 1300 - 1500. The mount is sexfoil in plan comprising six convex roundels with a domed profile. A central perforation is present through which a rivet would have fitted to hold the mount onto a strap or similar. The rivet no longer survives. The surface of the mount is undecorated. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The mount is 12.9mm in diameter, 0.6mm thick and weighs 0.6g. Similar mounts are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard, p.191, fig.120. An incomplete copper-alloy barb spring padlock case of medieval date, c. AD 1100 - 1300. The lock comprises a hollow cylindrical case with a rectangular pierced arm projecting upward from one end. A rectangular key aperture is present to the end, below the arm. The opposite end is obscured by corrosion. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The lock is 28.3mm long, 8mm wide and 2.2mm thick at the arm, the case us 9.8mm in diameter. The object weighs 7.9g. A similar padlock is illustrated in Egan (1998), p.93, fig.66. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1450. Only part of the buckle plate remains. It is sub-rectangular with two split loops, creating a pin slot, for the bar of the buckle. The reverse plate has been lost to worn breaks at the loops. A single rivet hole is present at the centre of the opposite end of the plate. The object is undecorated. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn.
