Post Medieval hammered halfgroat of the Commonwealth (1649-1660) minted between 1649 and 1660 AD. North No. 2728. Obverse is a shield with chequered St. George cross surrounded by a wreath. Reverse has two shields. The left shield has a St. George cross and the right shield has a worn harp. There is a II above the shield with a pellet either side. There is a worn pelleted edge to the reverse. The coin is 17.2mm in diameter and weighs 0.9g.
