Copper alloy axe head fragment. A tiny chip from the end of the cutting edge of a cast axe head, possibly parted from its matrix at the site of a casting flaw. The cutting edge was crescentic with abrupt ends, though too little remains to firmly ascribe this scrap to a particular type. Suggested date: Middle to Late Bronze Age, 1600-800 BC. Incomplete medieval copper alloy sword scabbard chape, trapezoidal, cast in one piece and folded in two to form a trapezoidal lower part and two arms, each with a rivet at a pointed terminal. One arm is missing. A saltire is engraved on one face of the lower part and a herringbone pattern on the other. On both faces in the centre of the upper edge between the springing of the arms a three-quarter round hole lies between a pair of curving projections. Medieval gilt copper alloy pin from a disc-on-pin buckle, distorted D-sectioned frame with two opposed notches, one with fragment of missing copper alloy bar, between which is a constriction containing a the gilt copper alloy pin. The pin has an oval collet surviving in the centre of the disc, stone missing, surrounded by a concentric band of rocker-arm engraving. Cf. Norfolk examples from Surlingham (HER 36820, NMS-B89364), West Acre (HER 32619, NMS-AE39D1) and Wiveton (HER 32619, NMS-AE39D1). Length of pin 23.5mm. Width 11.2mm. 14th - 15th century.

An incomplete Post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped oval buckle c.AD 1550 - 1650. Description: A double looped frame with D-shaped loops. Decoration consists of moulded scrolled ornamentation. The buckle has a moulded rosette on the knops either side of the loops.
