A fragment of a glass Vessel of Post-Medieval date (AD 1700-1800). The object is a partial base of a probable onion bottle. The glass is light green, translucent and all surfaces are coated with pearlescent iridescent decay product. The lower/underside of the fragment is a domed punt or inswing from the base.
Length: 81.65mm, Width: 45.22mm, Thickness: 8.62mm, Height (at punt): 6.76mm, Weight: 55.6g.

A fragment of a glass vessel of Post-Medieval date (AD 1700-1800). The retained fragment is the neck of a bottle and is light green in colour. All surfaces are coated with pearlescent iridescent decay product. wine bottle fragment. The sherd has a raised circumferential band with longitudinal lines running down to the lower part of the fragment. The extent of decay may suggest the glass to be an earlier rather than a later industrial product.
