A cast copper-alloy object, based on a Roman or Ancient Greek coin, and probably dating from the post-Medieval to modern periods. The object comprises a copper-alloy disc with with a relief-moulded head, facing right, on one side; on the other side are two standing figures. Protruding from the edge of the disc is a sub-cylindrical projection, broken at its distal end, where there is attached iron staining. This object was originally recorded as an Iron Age coin or token; however, it is more likely to be an incomplete pipe tamper of much later date (JW, 7.6.19).

Copper alloy thimble. Cast beehive-shaped thimble constructed of two layers, each of thickness 0.7mm, one slipped tightly within the other. The external, and hence visible, surface has ten horizontal rows of hand-stamped circular pits [of diameter 0.8mm] around its wall, and with a scatter of more worn pits on its domed top, which is partly worn away to reveal the inner sleeve. A fragment of a two or four disc, lead alloy cloth seal, probably dating from the Post-Medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1700. The remaining portion consists of the loop of the outer disc, with a large central hole, through which the connecting rivet passed when the seal was closed. The only traces of lettering visible are at the top of the reverse (as illustrated) and read "[...](E)R(G)[...]" It is 19mm in diameter and 1.9mm thick. It weighs 1.85gm.

A fragment of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) small-long brooch (450-550). This fragment is part of the leg with an almost complete catch-plate. In plan, the leg has parallel sides and in side profile it curves slightly forwards. The front has transverse grooves. The curled-over part of the catch-plate which secured the tip of the pin is missing. There is break at each end of the leg. This brooch is partially corroded and has a green patina with flecks of iron staining. The breaks are old. Length: 16.6mm; width: 6.6mm; thickness: 8.8mm; length of catch-plate: 13.0mm. Weight: 2.68g.
