A complete lead-alloy steelyard weight of possible Roman date (AD 43-410). The weight is roughly bi-conical in form consisting of an upper-section and larger lower section which each expand and meet at an off-centred circumerential ridge. From the top of the weight extends a suspension loop comprised of an iron bar that is rectangular in section. Above the circumerential ridge is a series of vertical linear markings that extend slightly over the ridge in places. The weight is very worn with several pits and linear gouges across the surface. An incomplete lead cloth seal dating to the Medieval period. The cloth seal consists of two thin flat circular discs connected together at one edge by a rectangular strip. The cavity between the two discs is filled with depositional residue. The upper surface of one disc is decorated with what might be the remains of a legend, while the surface of the opposite disc is plain. The object measures 19.5mm in length, 12mm in width and is a maximum of 4mm thick. It weighs 4.39 grams.

A lead spindle whorl, probably dating to the medieval period. The spindle whorl is bi-conical in shape and sub-rectangular in cross-section, with a circular perforation running vertically through the object from the upper to lower surfaces. This hole is filled with deposition residue. All of the surfaces are undecorated. The spindle whorl measures 20mm in diameter and 10mm in height. It weighs 18.54 grams.

A fragment from a cast copper-alloy Roman folding knife handle. The fragment is broadly rectangular in plan and cross-section and depicts a stylised hare running in mid-stride. The hare has an oval shaped body, short legs and flattened nose with moulded diagonal ridges representing ears that are swept backwards along its back.
