A cast copper alloy shoe buckle frame c1750-c1780. The frame is rectangular with an open decorative pattern, consisting of three rows of co-joined hollowed hemispheres, which are raised to the front of the buckle, and flat to its rear. The inner and outer row are of small hemispheres, whereas the middle row is of much larger hemispheres. The inner corners of the frame are right angles, the outer corners rounded. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy hinged developed T-shaped brooch dating to c. AD 75 to 150. The surviving portion comprises part of the head, the bow and part of the foot with catch-plate on the reverse. The pin, one of the wings, most of the foot and the remainder of the catch-plate are all missing. At the head of the brooch an integral headloop survives and measures 6.0 in diameter; the perforation is off centre, perhaps worn to one side. Large medieval copper alloy seal matrix which has been damaged, probably deliberately to deface it, The seal is circular with a flat back and an irregular hole through the centre.
