A cast copper alloy shoe buckle frame c1750-c1780. The frame is rectangular with an open decorative pattern, consisting of three rows of co-joined hollowed hemispheres, which are raised to the front of the buckle, and flat to its rear. The inner and outer row are of small hemispheres, whereas the middle row is of much larger hemispheres. The inner corners of the frame are right angles, the outer corners rounded. An incomplete copper alloy Buckle of Post-Medieval date (AD 1660-1720). The object is a sub-annular knee buckle with a drilled frame and separate spindle (now missing). The frame two opposing oblique bifid knops on each end of the frame and transverse lines and grooves on all four edges. The pin is missing. The metal is a dark green and brown in colour with a smooth patina. Length: 21.99mm, Width: 15.99mm, Thickness: 2.06mm, Weight: 1.7g. Whitehead (1996), P 98, No 606.

An incomplete copper alloy Buckle Chape of Post-Medieval date (AD 1720-1790). The retained fragment is composed of a rectangular strip with recessed central panel with a transverse groove. The single ovate loop is retied to one side of the panel, to the other is a single tapering spike. The second spike is missing due to an old abraded break.
